Koko Crater Trail

This hike could be crushed in the morning after your coffee, as the sun is rising and not turning you into a little lobster (below is my little lobster).

Koko Trail is basically railroad tracks all the way up. You can skip the stair machine at the gym today. ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ This hike can be an hour and a half-ish round trip with some time at the top for photos, but the top is a beautiful spot to chill, and snack. Pack snacks for the top and water for the way up (below is a photo from the top).

I recommend going earlier in the day as everyone and their babies decide to do this trail around noon. Hawaii sun on an exposed trail also really gets aggressive.

*beat the crowds, y’all! ๐Ÿ˜do it for the views!!๐Ÿ˜ ๐ŸŒบAloha!๐ŸŒบ
